At the clinic, you can issue or renew all categories of your driving license. When you arrive (appointment required), you will need to have the following documents with you :

1. Police ID or Passport.

2. Previous driving license (if renewal).

3. AMKA (social security number if availabe).

4. Four-digit PIN (optional - required if renewal is done electronically) : Through an application to gov.gr where you will be given a four-digit code (PIN) with which the certificate is digitally registered, without the need for a paper certificate.

5. Further medical exams: If you are over 65 or have a specific medical history, additional tests may be needed.

MAXIMUM DURATION OF DRIVING LICENSE

• Under 65 years old: The diploma is normally renewed every 15 years.
• 65 to 80 years old: The driver's license must be renewed every 3 years.
• Over 80 years old: Renewal is required every 2 years.

*Validity: Medical certificates for the issuance or renewal of a driving license are valid for 6 months from their issuance, after which a new issue is required..
