Paperless and printed prescription

 

There is the possibility of issuing prescriptions through:

 

• Paper prescription, when the prescription is required to be issued in paper form.

• Paperless prescription*, by sending the prescription to your mobile phone or email (if the conditions are met), for immediate execution at any pharmacy.

• Handwritten prescription, in case of no AMKA (SSN) or no insurance with a Public Entity.

*Paperless prescription significantly facilitates patients, reducing unnecessary travel and ensuring quick access to their medication.

 

 

Issuance of referrals for diagnostic tests

 

The General Practitioner issues referrals for haematological, biochemical, microbiological and imaging tests, as well as for other diagnostic procedures, when deemed necessary after a medical assessment.
The issuance of referrals is carried out in accordance with the instructions of EOPYY and the applicable legislation, with the aim of comprehensive prevention, diagnosis and monitoring of your health.

 

Issuance of consumables for Medical Devices

 

Responsible and immediate issuance of opinions for consumables is provided through EOPYY (diabetes mellitus (measuring tapes, needles, lancing devices and other prescribed items), in accordance with the applicable medical indications and the Unified Health Benefits Regulation (EKPY). The procedure is carried out after a medical evaluation of the patient and concerns insured persons who are entitled to the provision of medical devices and consumables for the treatment of chronic or acute diseases.
